Gold Coast theme parks extend peak season operating hours
Gold Coast theme parks Dreamworld, Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast and Warner Bros. Movie World have each extended their school holiday operating schedules to cater for increased holiday patronage.
From 28th December until 18th January, Dreamworld will open from 10am until 8pm (except Friday nights).
Dreamworld will also host its Illuminate laser light show every night at 7:45pm.
Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast’s extended operating hours began on 28th December and will continue until 11th January, with the waterpark open from 9am until 6:30pm.
Movie World has also extended its operating schedule, opening from 9am until 5:30pm starting from 29th December until 11th January.
Dreamworld has also recently opened a range of gourmet food and beverage outlets across the park, serving up everything from made-to-order pizzas to fresh espresso coffee.
A gourmet sandwich outlet is the latest to open, named The Sandwich Shop, which features both pre-made and custom sandwich options as well as hearty salads.
Dreamworld’s Central Cafe was also refurbished to make way for a made-to-order gourmet pizza restaurant named Dough Bros Pizzeria.
