Gold Coast personal training company Fitness Enhancement celebrates 20 years in business

Gold Coast-based personal training company Fitness Enhancement - which now covers more than 2000 suburbs across Australia - is celebrating 20 years in business.

Founded by Scott Hunt, a local 'Gold Coaster', started his personal training business two decades ago as a 19 year-old student with a dream and $400.

20 years on and Fitness Enhancement is now a boutique 100% private personal training studio and as Hunt notes is “working with some of the best trainers on the coast and training hundreds of clients every week.”

Not only has Hunt managed success in his Gold Coast studio, he has also expanded his business out into franchises covering six major cities.

Hunt advises “Fitness Enhancement is one of Australia's largest personal training businesses and has created hundreds of jobs for personal trainers and franchisees on the Gold Coast and around the country.”

Hunt has carved out a niche for long term success, with several of his trainers having worked for Fitness Enhancement for over 10 years, and with some of his clients having commenced training with Fitness Enhancement from day one and still happily training every week.

Fitness Enhancement was recognised as the number one personal training company in Queensland last year, and top five in Australia.

Hunt explains “we’ve spent 20 years helping people live a fitter and healthier life and we are so proud to have the hard work of our team recognised as the best in the state and one of the best in the country. We’re looking forward to showing everyone in Australia how we can help you achieve your goals no matter where you started from.

“Of course, the other key ingredient to a successful Personal Training business, is successful clients. Over the last two decades Fitness Enhancement has helped thousands of clients reach their health and fitness goals, varying from weight loss, to increased health, training for an event or a holiday, to simply improving quality of life.

“One of Fitness Enhancement’s most impressive success stories is our amazing Shari, who lost 100 kilograms and continues to train in Fitness Enhancement small group training sessions. Another huge success story is the fantastic Kimberlee who while managing her epilepsy and cerebral palsy, has lost over 60 kilograms and gone from not being able to run at all - to now competing in 15 kilometre races, not letting her disability hold her back.”

Fitness Enhancement is Australia's largest National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) registered Personal Training company allowing them to help even more people living with a disability to achieve their health and fitness goals through government funding for eligible participants.

Hunt concludes “we look forward to the next 20 years and helping more Australians achieve their goals who aren't able to in a gym environment.”
