Genesis opens in Hobart

Melbourne-based Genesis Health Clubs have opened their first club in Tasmania.
Taking over the management of a former Beach House Health Club franchise, the Hobart Genesis club marks the fourth state in which Genesis Health Clubs now operate.
Belgravia Leisure-backed Genesis began operations in 1996 with a vision to provide a professional and honest service superior to other fitness clubs.
As Chief Executive Greg Oliver explains, "clubs strive to maintain their community based culture, supporting local schools, kindergartens and businesses."
Genesis is also set to open new clubs in the Melbourne suburbs of Berwick and Melton in the remaining months of 2008.
