Galloway to Head New Zealand's Swim Coaching Development
Sheila Galloway has been appointed Swimming New Zealand's new Coaching Development Manager.
The SPARC (Sport and Recreation New Zealand) funded position is to ensure coaching development is progressing according to Swimming New Zealand's strategic plan.
Galloway, who replaces Arjun Haszard, will be part of the Performance and Pathways team based at Auckland's Millennium Institute.
Swimming New Zealand's Junior Skills Module and Bronze Accreditation form a critical pathway for New Zealand's coaches and SNZ is committed to ensuring every person who wishes to coach has a pathway and can gain the skills necessary to help SNZ and the Swim Coaches and Teachers of New Zealand (NZSCAT) to gain momentum in delivering quality coaching endeavours.
