Fuzzy Festivals opts for IMG STG ticketing solution

Fuzzy Festivals, the promoter of Australia's most popular and well known dance events, has reappointed IMG Sports Technology (IMG STG) as their preferred ticketing solution.

Fuzzy, the promoters behind the popular Parklife, Harbourlife, Shore Thing and Field Day festivals will once again rely on IMG STG's TicketDesq to provide a robust ticketing solution.

During the 2012 festival season Parklife Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide as well as Harbourlife in Sydney, Field Day in Sydney and the Shore Thing held on the Bondi Beach sand each New Year's Eve, will be supported by IMG STG's TicketDesq ticketing solution.

IMGSTG General Manager - Ticketing Anthony Hargreaves explains "we are proud to secure Fuzzy as a marquee client of our TicketDesq ticketing solution again in 2012.

"The ticket purchase process is often the first contact experience for festival goers for their Fuzzy event of choice and the TicketDesq solution ensures the patron experience is professional and seamless. In most cases the patron is unaware they have actually been redirected to another website for the ticket purchase as the online TicketDesq pages are all branded in the promoters own 'look and feel', not TicketDesq.

"For IMG STG to be reappointed as Fuzzy's preferred supplier is a massive stamp of approval to the online, call centre and access control systems we provided in 2011."

As well as online ticket sales and e-ticket delivery, IMG STG will once again provide inbound call centre management for advance ticket sales and customer enquiries. IMG STG will also provide event day access control to manage attendance and monitor event ticket integrity. For the largest events, up to

35 access lanes will be equipped with IMG STG hand-held barcode scanners, all linked to provide a closed access control network capable of ensuring speedy, secure guest ingress.

Fuzzy Director Adelle Robinson adds "Fuzzy are excited to be working with IMG STG for another festival season as our preferred ticketing platform supplier."

Fuzzy have nominated IMG STG as their preferred supplier for ticketing since 2010.

IMG STG and Fuzzy expect more than 80,000 festival goers will use TicketDesq to purchase tickets online or via the call centre during the 2012 festival season.

For promoters a key component of the TicketDesq system is that they retain all ticket sales data. This allows Fuzzy, as with all TicketDesq users, to provide event updates and market future events to their previous customers. The marketing opportunities presented by this customer-promoter model are virtually unique to the TicketDesq system when compared to other large ticketing companies.
