Free Fan Festival announced for Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix

The Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix  is returning in 2025 with a free, family friendly Fan Festival for F1 fans of all ages.

The five-day festival will feature appearances from sport stars and entertainment icons and will be packed with all sorts of activities, including virtual Driver Selfies, the F1® Blast Lane and an F1® show car.

The festival will have a dedicated video gaming lounge, food and drinks, and will also give fans the chance to get up close with drivers during live interviews and Q&A sessions.

Australian Grand Prix Corporation Chief Executive Travis Auld enthused “I am thrilled to share that this year we are expanding the Grand Prix experience and taking over Melbourne, with the announcement of the free F1 Melbourne Fan Festival 2025 at Melbourne Park Oval.

"Race week is such an exciting time in the city, and this festival will be an extension of the incredible offerings already available within the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit.”

Tickets to the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix  are already sold out for Saturday and Sunday, but anyone can attend the Fan Festival and watch races and exclusive live crosses straight from the track – while soaking up the atmosphere of the Grand Prix, for free.

The Grand Prix’s attendance numbers grow year on year – attracting people of all ages from around the world, across Australia and all over Victoria. The Fan Festival is the latest addition to this exciting global sporting event, which offers significant benefits to the state.

The free festival will commence at Melbourne Park Oval on Wednesday, 12th March before wrapping up after the main race on Sunday, 16th March.
