Floriade returns in 2025 with ‘Science and Nature’ theme and impressive line-up of sponsors and partners
Floriade, Australia’s largest celebration of Spring held in Canberra’s Commonwealth Park, returns in 2025 from 13th September to 12th October with the theme ‘Science and Nature’ and will offering a free flower and entertainment festival with horticulture displays, sculptures, live entertainment, food options and interactive experiences for all ages.
The annual festival continues to play a vital role in the life of the city, attracting visitors from across the country and enhancing Canberra’s reputation as a vibrant and welcoming destination. Beyond its tourism impact and significant economic boost, Floriade brings people together and helps build the sense of community that makes Canberra such a great place to live.
Floriade’s signature event, NightFest, will also return from 2nd to 5th October, featuring headline performances, live music and cabaret shows.
Floriade 2025 is made possible through the strength of its partnerships. Allhomes is this year’s Presenting Partner, and through this collaboration, YWCA Canberra joins as Floriade’s Charity Partner.
The National Capital Authority continues its role as Strategic Partner, and the City Renewal Authority returns as Precinct Partner, both contributing to the delivery of a vibrant festival experience in the heart of Canberra.
Major sponsors Canberra Centre, Yarralumla Nursery and ShapeScaper bring valuable support to the event, alongside a diverse group of supporting partners including Streets, Underground Spirits, The Property Collective, BentSpoke Brewing Co, Contentious Character, Optus, Thor’s Hammer, and The Mark Agency.
Accor returns as Accommodation Partner, with media support from Southern Cross Austereo, AmplifyCBR and The Canberra Times. Icon Water continues its important role as Floriade’s Community Sponsor, helping maintain community group gardens across the city, a much-loved feature of the festival.
ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr notes "Floriade is a true community celebration, and it’s made possible through the commitment of our many sponsors and partners.
“I’m especially pleased to welcome Allhomes as our Presenting Partner for 2025 and YWCA Canberra as this year’s Charity Partner. Their involvement, along with the continued support of our long-standing partners, reflects the strength of collaboration behind this iconic event."
Belinda Sinclair, Acting Chief Commercial Officer at Allhomes notes “we're incredibly proud to announce YWCA Canberra as the recipient of funds raised at this year's bulb dig. Their tireless work to support women and children to find safe and affordable housing is a cause we feel immensely passionate about, and it's a privilege to stand alongside them in tackling this important issue in the community.”
Frances Crimmins, YWCA Canberra Chief Executive added “we’re incredibly grateful to Allhomes for choosing YWCA Canberra’s YHomes as the 2025 Charity Partner. As a deeply rooted Canberra-based community organisation, this partnership just makes sense. Allhomes is about helping people find a place to call home and so are we. But for us, a home is more than just a roof over someone’s head, it’s about safety, dignity, and a chance to rebuild. Through this partnership, we’re creating real opportunities for women and families to thrive.”
