FITX Sports and Fitness Expo returns for a fourth year

Aiming to entertain, inspire and involve attendees in fitness, the FitX Sports and Fitness Expo is be staged for a fourth year at the beginning of March.

To be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7th to 9th March, the event will this be competing even more keenly with the Australian Fitness & Health Expo, being held at the same venue just a month later.

First launched in 2011, last year event attracted 24,000 visitors with the event website explaining "(in 2013) FitX 2013 delivered on it's promise to up the ante and produce the biggest Sports and Fitness Expo this country has ever seen.

"With an overwhelmingly positive response to FitX 2013 by all those involved, we look forward to making 2014 an even bigger and better event for exhibitors and patrons alike."

Events at FitX 2014 include:

Main Stage - displaying Australia's best Amateur and Professional physiques, plus further world class demonstrations and athletes.

Activity Area - featuring Giants Live, Cross Fit's 'X-Fit', Bench for Cash and a host of other competitions and displays, this area is a target for all those interested in strength and functional fitness.

Education Zone - in a fully equipped, purpose built gym, world-class athletes and coaches take attendees through various training techniques and protocols in short practical sessions while educational seminars surrounding training principles and theories that you can learn and apply to your own training.

Industry Zone - training providers Global Fitness Institute and Wyn Training will offer a variety of courses that industry people can book to gain CEC's.

Wellness Centre - featuring yoga, pilates, nutrition, health and rehabilitation as well as demonstrations and talks.

Fight Corner - dedicated to boxing, MMA and a variety of other martial arts in a full size boxing ring.
