FITREC to stage inaugural Summit

Fitness registration body FITREC is to stage its first industry summit, providing club owners, managers, trainers and instructors the opportunity to discover the power of collaboration.

Being held in Melbourne on 15th November, the Fitness Unite Summit will offer attendees the ability to network with and learn from some of the industry’s leading business operators and specialists, to ensure that they can take home tools, tips and strategies that can be implemented immediately for even greater success in their business or career.

Founded in 2015, FITREC has created a fitness registration initiative that aims to bring greater transparency and accountability to the fitness registration space.

FITREC is headed by Dennis Hosking (pictured below), who has been Managing Director of fitness recruitment specialists HealthyPeople since 2005.

Hosking has been a vocal critic of Fitness Australia - provider of the country’s largest fitness registration service - since the creation of FITREC, recently writing “we’ve shone a light on many questionable elements of our industry that we’ve all, at some point, taken for granted.”

Given the reasons behind FITREC’s creation, the Summit may also provide a forum for the discussion of registration services.
