Fitness Australia introduces Workplace Wellbeing Professional

Small businesses and sole traders across Victoria who are registered with Fitness Australia can now access free dedicated workplace wellbeing support thanks to a new Partners in Wellbeing Program initiative with community services organisation EACH.

Tenille Drummond-Clark, Fitness Australia’s Workplace Wellbeing Clinician, said the new program was about assisting small business owners and sole traders with their wellbeing and that of their staff and family while also providing business support.

Drummond-Clark (pictured below) advised “Victorian businesses have faced tremendous challenges over the past 18 months, and this has impacted the wellbeing and mental health of everyone, from business owners, employees and their families.

“This new state-wide wellbeing and mental health support program is about providing free confidential one-on-one sessions, specialised small business counselling and advisory to ensure businesses can move forward even in these difficult times.”

Fitness Australia Chief Executive Barrie Elvish the Fitness Australia Workplace Wellbeing Clinician was a dedicated industry-specific extension of the Victorian Governments Wellbeing and Mental Health Support for Victorian Small Businesses, commenting “through this program, our Victorian members who are dealing with the challenges of running a small business can get the mental health support they need to navigate through the impacts of the pandemic.

“This support is vital and is an extension of the Victorian Government’s support for small businesses. By having a dedicated Fitness Australia Workplace Clinician, we are able to offer specific support, advice and financial counselling that is tailored to our industry.

“I urge all of our business and sole trader members across the state to utilise this free service or attend upcoming webinar workshops hosted by Tenille.”

Drummond-Clark will be hosting the first of many webinar workshops on Wednesday 29th September at 1pm which will cover Managing difficult conversations with clients (1 CEC).
