Fiona Menzies reappointed as Creative Partnerships Australia Chief Executive

The Federal Government has reappointed Fiona Menzies as the Chief Executive of Creative Partnerships Australia.

Menzies’ reappointment follows from an acknowledgement that her strategic vision has led the organisation to new heights, including the launch of Australia’s first Government-supported matched funding program for the arts.

She is a powerful advocate for the importance of social investment and the value of corporate partnerships with the creative sector. Thanks to her leadership, Creative Partnerships has supported hundreds of organisations and individuals to connect with the private sector resulting in a steady increase to philanthropic support for the arts in Australia.

Menzies (pictured) is also a Trustee of the Gordon Darling Foundation and a former Trustee of the Dame Nellie Melba Opera Trust.

She holds a Master of Arts in Art Museum Studies from the Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Melbourne.

Her commitment to developing private sector support for the arts will position the organisation for further success over the next three years.

Her new three-year term commences on 4th February 2019.

Creative Partnerships is a Commonwealth company established to encourage and facilitate philanthropy, sponsorship and social investment in the arts in Australia.
