EYE fitness and GoGetta Finance join to support Flood victim

EYE fitness and GoGetta Equipment Finance have joined join forces to support fitness operators affected by the recent Queensland floods.

The popular Generations Health and Wellness and the Femnasium club, both sited in Emerald central Queensland, and run by recognised industry experts Ken and Nickie Ware, were both badly damaged in the recent floods that affected the State.

Due to technicalities with insurance Ken and Nickie's businesses, both affected by mud and water, was sadly set to be left high and dry.

However, EYE fitness and GoGetta Equipment Finance found a solution.

In mid 2010, EYE fitness had installed 4 XDREAM interactive bikes at the club (financed by GoGetta), which generated an amazing response from members. Members of all ages were using the bikes and the club held race nights for various age and sex categories which boosted club excitement and enjoyment as well as member's fitness levels.

Unfortunately the floods wiped out the clubs' prized XDREAM bikes and other cardio equipment, in addition to inflicting building damage. Unfortunately, the club's insurance did not cover the replacement of the bikes.

EYE fitness' and GoGetta's solution saw them replace the clubâs bikes and ease the costs with free delivery and installation by EYE fitness.

GoGetta and Eye fitness are now working together on other solutions to get the clubs, which are the hub of the community, back on their feet.

In response to this backing Ken Ware commented "this offer is so overwhelming and a fantastic boost to everyone's moral.

"Thank you so much for all of your assistance, it will never be forgotten."
