EventPro’s latest update offers new features and enhanced functionality

EventPro Software, a leading international provider of cloud-based and on-prem event and venue management software, has announced their major software release for 2020, including a batch of new features that have been in high demand this year.

EventPro, a division of Profit Systems Inc. (PSI), is a development-focused company committed to continuously adding value to its software, and this latest release delivers on that commitment.

The new features available are:

• EVA-Calendar Sync: This highly anticipated automated service enables two-way sync of event locations between EventPro and Exchange or Google Calendars. EVA-Calendar Sync allows people to book EventPro locations without actually using the EventPro program, making the booking process easier, while maintaining the privacy of your EventPro system. This is convenient, for example, if using EventPro to book a facility’s spaces for internal purposes; staff members can book locations using the Exchange/Google calendar they’re already comfortable with, and bookings will be automatically synced back to EventPro.

• Contact Tracing: A critical feature for these times, this new online module helps clients screen and trace everyone who enters their facility and/or event. Offering the ability to define the contact information and screening questions to be included in the online form - made accessible via web link or even QR Code - people can easily scan and complete the form with their smartphones on the spot. Collected information is automatically pulled into the specialised Contact Tracing area of the EventPro application for easy filtering and reporting.

• Invitations & Appointments: Right from within EventPro, EPConnect (web integration suite), or Virtual Assistants (automation services), users can send calendar invitations or appointments to recipients through manually created or automatically generated emails.

Some other recent enhancements include:

• Email Scheduling: Scheduling individual emails and mail merges to be sent at future times and dates.

• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): An optional security mechanism available for certain user types, requiring more than one method of verifying user identity before granting access to the application. (Currently available for EventPro Cloud.)

• Health Check: This new function evaluates system integrity and scans for anomalies typically checked when investigating errors.

• Calendar Reports: This new collection of reports allows you to create customised printed calendar layouts.

• 2-Way API: EventPro’s API allows two-way transfer of information between EventPro and other software, which means that you can now both send out EventPro data to be used in other applications, and collect data from interfaces other than the EventPro program itself.

• Opportunities from Email: This new module creates Opportunities (event inquiries) directly from email communications, populating the details in EventPro based on information from the email body content.

While these new enhancements lengthen EventPro’s extensive list of features, its modularised design, EventPro Software can be adapted and scaled to the unique needs of each client.

Planning further developments beyond this latest software update, Profit Systems Inc.
