EnVie Fitness' US expansion continues with openings and key appointment

EnVie Fitness for Women is advancing its business in the USA with the appointment of Liberty Harper as its US-based Director of Operations.

The addition of Harper to the executive team signals a continued focus on growing the business and the momentum behind the EnVie Fitness brand, which has already opened its first two studios since its recent launch in North America.

In her new position, Harper will oversee the operations and development of programming for all corporate and franchised studios, as well as be responsible for the training of new franchisees. She will also direct the development of financial goals and sales targets of all of EnVie Fitness’s global regions.

Announcing the appointment EnVie Fitness Chief Operating Officer Gary Findley “Liberty is a momentous gain for the EnVie brand.

“More than her knowledge, experience and productivity with some of the franchise industry’s top brands, Liberty brings an honorable character and a relentless determination to help others reach their goals, whether in franchising, fitness or both.

“She is a perfect fit to the EnVie culture.”

Harper joins EnVie with more than 16 years of experience in franchising, marketing and fitness/health/beauty. She has served as both a franchisee and franchisor, co-owning two Curves franchises in the late 1990s and creating and managing the 65-unit Liberty Fitness franchise chain in the 2000s.

As the founder and Chief Executive of The Harper Consulting Group, she has also specialized in franchise and marketing consulting with numerous companies – including Total Woman Gym + Spa, iTAN, Fatburger and KidzArt, among others – having worked with them to grow their businesses across the United States, Middle East and Asia.

Harper explains “the women’s fitness industry has not seen anything like this since Curves arrived with its smallish clubs; fast-paced, station-to-station workouts that would fit nicely into a lunch hour.

“With studios that are twice the size, have more variety of equipment and offer personal training and group classes, EnVie is breaking open the market with a new concept custom-built to meet the realistic demands of today’s woman.

“I couldn’t be more excited about joining the team and doing my part to help build a successful new concept that is miles ahead.”

Founded in Sydney in 2012, EnVie Fitness for Women is a breakthrough concept in the women’s fitness industry, offering an experience tailor-made to meet today’s female needs and interests.

EnVie has opened seven studios throughout Australia and, as of 2014, is expanding throughout the USA.
