EHFF 2023 to offer inspiration for transforming the fitness industry

While FIBO 2023 - the world's largest trade fair for fitness, wellness and health - is aimed equally at trade visitors and the general public, the European Health & Fitness Forum (EHFF) focuses on industry experts. After the success of last year's sold-out event, EuropeActive and FIBO are once again inviting top representatives of the international fitness industry to the summit meeting at the Congress Centre North on 12th April.

Under the motto "Transformational Leadership", an impressive range of speakers and the latest study results offer insight into the current developments and key figures of the fitness market. Rounded off by personal exchange and discussions with the industry's top decision-makers, the EHFF offers inspiration and how-to's for actively helping to shape the fitness world of tomorrow.

EHFF will take place in the run-up to FIBO and will be the starting signal for business, networking and further education at the highest level.

The fitness industry is changing. Driven by the challenges of the Corona pandemic, digitalisation, changing customer needs and a health-oriented understanding of fitness and wellness are shaping the market. The European Health & Fitness Forum shows how the industry can successfully meet these changes and even drive them forward.

Best practices from true industry leaders

Participants can expect a top-class programme of lectures by renowned speakers on top topics such as agility, digitalisation, leadership, inclusion and other management topics. The BEACTIVE DAY, among others, proves that sport and fitness release socialising factors.

Under the motto "Uniting Europe through physical activity", EuropeActive Chief Executive Andreas Paulsen will dedicate himself to the action day for this year. Prof. Alfonso Jimenez from THiNK Active, Olga Ostromecka from McKinsey & Co. and Utku Toprakseven from 4global will also shed light on the socio-economic impact of the industry. Jacob Fatih, founder and Chief Executive of Crealize, will give participants valuable insights into what it takes to build an inclusive fitness business.

Other management topics will be addressed by Chuck Runyon, Chief Executive of Self Esteem Brand, with a focus on changing customer needs, and Jos Eeland, Simon-Kucher & Partners, with regard to pricing strategies for a volatile market. Angela Pernsteiner, founder and Chief Executive of Beyond Resilience, focuses on leadership in the wellness industry. Founder of Twinxter, Alize Hofmeester plays on the theme of corporate leadership and devotes herself to agile leadership in challenging times. As one of the groundbreaking trends, digitalisation must not be missing from the EHFF lecture programme. Prof. Evgeny Kaganer, IESE Business School, names the essentials of digital transformation in her lecture.

The industry in figures

The fitness market is in constant motion. It is therefore all the more important to have reliable data that records and substantiates this movement. This is what the European Health and Fitness Market Report does.

"The report has become the gold standard for market research in the field of fitness and physical activity", says Andreas Paulsen, Chief Executive of EuropeActive, about the importance of the report. Conducted annually by EuopeActive and Deloitte, the comprehensive study provides reliable data on the European health and fitness market and thus serves as a valuable source of information for industry players. At the EHFF, Herman Rutgers, Board Member EuropeActive and Karsten Hollasch, Partner for Global Private Equity Leader Financial Advisory at Deloitte, will present and classify the latest key figures and key findings of the Consumer Survey as part of the report. The EHFM report, which will be published this spring, will also provide an overview of market trends and drivers as well as analyses, rankings and profiles of European fitness club operators.

One ticket - three events

With their participation in the 10th European Health & Fitness Forum, industry representatives can expect a full-day programme on the latest topics of the fitness market and exclusive recommendations for action. The day's programme will be rounded off with an evening event in an impressive setting. The dinner offers guests the opportunity to further deepen discussions and expand their network. They will also receive a 2-day ticket for FIBO.

Tickets for the tenth EHFF are available at www.europeactive.eu/event/EHFF
