EFM Fitness shapes up for continued growth

South Australian fitness franchise EFM Health Clubs has opened 11 sites in just over 12 months and plans to keep the growth going with another eight outlets in the next six months.

Matthew Lindblom, EFM's Managing Director, explained "we've seen first hand the positive impact tailored programs and personalised fitness coaching have on our members here in South Australia, but it's great to know that EFM is making a difference elsewhere in Australia. We're really starting to carve a national footprint.

"Within the next six months, we're aiming to add another eight new sites across the country, with two in Adelaide, four in Victoria, one in Queensland and one in New South Wales, all antipicated."

The 60-strong franchise network has also been placed in the BRW Fast Franchises listing, coming in at 23 for outlet growth, and numbered 30th fastest-growing franchise by revenue.

Lindlom said "it's a great coup for us to be recognised on this list and it shows the company is a cohesive group and in excellent shape. While a large part of our success can be attributed to market demand, it's also a real credit to our franchisees and their staff. Their professionalism and commitment to tailoring programs to suit individuals' needs and abilities has turned EFM into a home-grown success story."
