Eden Park to launch Sky Sport Rooftop Tour and Zip line

Auckland's Eden Park has revealed that it is to launch two new attractions - the Sky Sport Rooftop Tour and Zipline - in the coming months, offering the public a spectacular view of the New Zealand's largest sporting venue.

With Sky Sport the headline sponsor of the attractions, Sky Director of Marketing Steve Bayliss enthuses “Sky delivers sporting thrills and spills 24/7 but being able to add a whole other layer of live excitement for sports fans with the Sky Sport Rooftop Tour and Zipline at ‘the Fortress’, was an opportunity we just couldn’t let slide.”

Previewing the attraction on Valentine's Day (14th February), Eden Park says the permanent tourism attraction will provide yet another reason to visit the venue for a unique experience.

Eden Park Chief Executive Officer Nick Sautner notes “Eden Park is a community asset that is home to 117 years of history and endless unforgettable memories.

"The Sky Sport Rooftop Tour and Zipline will be a popular addition to the stadium’s experiences and illustrates the versatility of our product. We are looking forward to working with Sky to showcase the view of Tāmaki Makaurau from this rare vantage point high above the hallowed turf."
