Eden Park offers first-hand event preparation experience

Eden Park is offering a unique experience for a lucky fan ahead of next Saturday’s ODI cricket fixture between the Blackcaps and South Africa.

As a way to promote the match, Eden Park is offering the opportunity for a cricket or turf fanatic to experience first-hand the preparation required to deliver great events at Eden Park.

The initiative follows the recent performance from the Eden Park Turf Management Team that resulted in South African captain Faf du Plessis stating "Eden Park was unbelievable, I was absolutely amazed.

“We actually talked about it, saying there are not a lot of grounds in the world where it would crunch down for two days with rain, and we rock up and it's bone dry."

Those wanting to gain access to the experience are encouraged to like @edenparknz on Facebook and explain who they think would be a suitable winner.

Once drawn, one lucky enthusiast will be granted accreditation and will accompany the turf team during the three hours leading up to the game.
