Eco-Conscious Bali waterpark to add one hectare of children’s aquatic play

Indonesian Eco-Conscious water attraction - Waterbom Bali - is introducing a new children’s area this year which will include AquaPlay (an expansive new water playground), a family restaurant and extra slides and gazebos.

Standing 15 meters tall, the new, interactive water playground bursts with a colour scheme of vibrant tropical blues, yellows and greens and boasts over 40 exciting features across 16 platforms and multiple levels.

With numerous splash zones and special areas fitted with soft rubber flooring to ensure safety while playing, especially for toddlers, children of all ages can have a great day of splashing fun.

Meanwhile, parents can watch over their children as they relax in newly designed areas which provide plenty of shade adjacent to the open-air family restaurant offering a diverse menu and seating for 120 guests.

Beyond Waterbom Bali's 26 world-class slides, built and maintained to strict international safety standards, lies a carefully landscaped sanctuary of gardens and water systems representing the beauty of Bali.

The park spans just over five hectares and was designed to provide memorable experiences for a range of guests from thrill seekers looking to take on the park’s extreme slides; to families enjoying the expansive Kiddy Area or those simply wanting to relax on the Lazy River and escape the outside world.

This boutique waterpark offers a range of premium quality food and drink options from five dining outlets, with all dishes made fresh daily, from locally sourced ingredients.

Waterbom Bali was voted as the top Waterpark in Asia in the TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards 2023 and takes their environmental responsibilities seriously, endeavouring to minimise any adverse environmental impact of their operations to the lowest practical levels, while nurturing, encouraging and developing an environmentally responsible culture among their team members and guests.

As a testament to their dedication, they were honoured with the prestigious Grand Title Award for Sustainability and Social Responsibility at the 2023 Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Gold Awards.

Aligned with their sustainability commitments, Waterbom has strategically installed solar panels to help reach their goal of net zero by 2033.

Solar panels harness the sun’s radiant energy to generate clean, renewable electricity, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Each kilowatt-hour of solar energy offsets approximately 0.91 kilograms of CO2 emissions.
