Drummond Golf continues to champion women’s golf with Athena tournament scholarship offering
Drummond Golf is the Official Partner of women’s golf tournament, The Athena, being held at Peninsula-Kingswood Country Golf Club on 1st and 2nd March.
On top of the $30,000 prize money, The Athena winner will secure a $15,000 scholarship thanks to Drummond Golf as part of its commitment to supporting emerging talent in Australian golf.
The scholarship will provide essential financial support for tournament travel, coaching, equipment and other key expenses associated with being an elite golfer.
The Athena tournament is known for its balance of fierce competition while also being the perfect platform to showcase the personalities of the competing players.
The two-day tournament will see the field of 12 WPGA Tour of Australasia professionals battle it out across the skills-based challenges on the opening day to determine the eight qualifiers for the four-hole match play on Sunday.

WPGA of Australasia Chief Executive Karen Lunn said the sponsorship would be a great addition to The Athena.
