Diploma in Business Management (Recreation Planning)

HM Leisure Planning, in association with the National Business Institute of Australia, will be commencing a professional training course in 2010.
The Diploma in Business Management (Recreation Planning) will be conducted by HM Leisure Planning's Dr Ken Marriott.
The nationally-accredited vocational and educational training (VET) course in recreation planning is aimed at middle level professionals who have responsibility for managing recreation planning staff and programs or who carry out recreation planning studies. Successful participants will earn a Diploma in Business Management in recreation planning.
The course is based on a successful pilot program run for Tasmanian State and local government recreation professionals in 2006-7.
The 2010 course will be run in Melbourne over a period of 12 months and will entail four three-day lectures, workshop and research sessions with each session to be followed by a series of projects and assignments which participants will undertake in their own work environment or community.
Further information on the 2010 course will be available on the website shortly. Numbers will be limited to 15 participants.
