Dimplex Australia renews partnership with The Melbourne Stars
The Dimplex Australia group (a leading brand in the field of electric heating and cooling) have renewed their partnership with The Melbourne Stars as Co-Coaches Partner across Australia's Twenty20 franchise cricket teams - both Big Bash League (BBL) and Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) for the next two years.
Dimplex will also be involved in a range of digital fan engagement initiatives, including the introduction of a post-match coaches report featuring David Hussey and Trent Woodhill. The series will provide fans greater insights and access to the inner sanctum of the Melbourne Stars at the completion of each match this summer.
Commenting on this renewed collaboration and opportunity to increase awareness of the Dimplex brand across Australia, Dimplex Chief Executive, David Woodward advised “joining forces with The Melbourne Stars was an easy decision for us given the perfect fit with the family fan base that the team enjoys. Our Dimplex range of heating and cooling products provides comfort all year round at home and is enjoyed by the whole household, just as the WBBL and BBL is enjoyed by the whole family. We look forward to growing our brand awareness across the Melbourne Stars family.”
Melbourne Stars General Manager Nick Cummins said he is pleased to have Dimplex on board for the season adding “it’s fantastic to have support like this from our partners going into a season with some uncertainty.
“With our senior coaching staff in David Hussey (BBL) and Trent Woodhill (WBBL), Dimplex will be in an excellent position to connect with our fans and in ways they never have before, through digital and virtual opportunities.”
Dimplex advises that it is “extremely excited to support the Melbourne Stars in their seasons ahead and look forward to supporting and connecting to fans in new and exciting ways.”
