Cricket Australia seals four-year partnership with Qantas

Cricket Australia has announced four-year sponsorship deal with Qantas.

The agreement will see Australia's national carrier back the game as the official sponsor and airline of Cricket Australia (CA), the company becoming a part of CA's commercial partner portfolio of a dozen firms.

Cricket Australia Chief Executive James Sutherland explained "the partnership makes perfect sense with (Qantas) joining forces with our much loved sport.

"This partnership will ensure the Australian cricket teams have the best travel experience both in Australia and internationally. The Australian cricket teams and support staff spend much of their year travelling, and we are thrilled to be travelling on Qantas and enjoy their high level of service."

Qantas Chief Executive Alan Joyce "cricket in Australia in summer is one of the world's great sporting experiences and as the national carrier we wish the Australian team the very best of luck for the forthcoming series."
