CINZ Chief Executive Sue Sullivan to move to new role at Christchurch and Hanmer Attractions
Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) has announced that Sue Sullivan, the body's Chief Executive for the past five years will be leaving at the end of November to take up a new role in Canterbury, as Chief Executive of Christchurch and Hanmer Attractions.
Commenting on her impending departure, Sullivan advised “New Zealand’s business events industry is set for great things, and I am privileged to have worked with an amazing team and many hundreds of our members in this vibrant, exciting sector."
CINZ Board Chair, Tony Gardner says Sullivan has been outstanding in leading CINZ since her appointment in June 2014 and she taken the organisation into a new chapter of member-focused industry leadership.
Gardner advised "over five successful years, Sue has done a remarkable job leading CINZ from a time of uncertainty to today’s important role in the sector. Her non-stop drive and straight-up leadership have been powerful in creating value for members and the industry.
“We will miss her, but she is going to an exciting new opportunity in her home region of Canterbury and we wish her all the best.”
The process to find a new Chief Executive has begun. Those interested in applying for the role should contact Sharon Edwards by email at s.edwards@nzconventions.co.nz.
