Looking back on the year, it has, as always, been a pleasure to report on all that is best about this industry that caters for the free time of populations.

Both in the printed magazine and here online, Australasian Leisure Management has covered a range of topics throughout the year, some familiar and some covering new and emerging sectors and activities.

In covering industry developments, it is remarkable how activities intertwine within many sectors of the industry, blurring sectoral definitions.

Perhaps that is consistent with how populations come together at this year end.
