CFM MemberDrive stronger than ever after 21 years
For 21 years CFM (Creative Fitness Marketing) have been helping independent club owners across the world boost their membership base and broadening their profile within the community.
Accorinding to CFM (Australia and New Zealand) Managing Director Liam Robertson "the secret to CFM's ongoing success has been the evolution of our marketing style.
"11 years ago, on CFM's 10th birthday, the primary sources of sales for MemberDrive campaigns were telemarketing and flyer drops.
"A decade later creativity has truly moved to the forefront, with buzz and guerilla marketing techniques representing over 40% of total sales. Further, this 'buzz marketing' lifts the independent health clubs' brand awareness to levels never seen before."
Bill Johnson, owner of the Body and Soul health club in Maitland, NSW concurs on the sea-change in CFM's marketing strategies, stating "I have noticed a change over the years; the marketing has become more exotic.
"I love the buzz marketing such as the spare tyre advertising and creative chalk drawings. They are very proactive in their marketing."
Fabian Gargano, owner of Inbalance Fitness in Werribee, Victoria goes further, explaining "they gave us so much exposure it was unreal. They always surprise us with the type of marketing they do."
Lis Faenza, owner of Bodyworks Batemans Bay, NSW has finished her second promotion with CFM in early October and adds "of course the addition of members to the database is fantastic, but my favourite thing about the promotion is the overall benefit to our position in the marketplace. It's the lifting of our profile that seems to create ongoing interest for months to come after CFM has left."
Graeme Lancefield, owner of Athletique in Preston and President of the National Amateur Body Builders Association (Australia) adds that "my favourite aspect of the most recent successful campaign was the girls doing handouts dressed as a monkey and the one week stall at the Northland Shopping Centre.
"I couldn't speak more highly of the professionalism of those generating efforts."
The fitness industry changes, CFM adapts, and MemberDrive has never been stronger.
