Casting call for Victorian women to feature in the next This Girl Can campaign
Working on behalf of VicHealth, casting agency Chameleon Casting is calling for 'inspiring women' to be part of the next This Girl Can television advertising campaign.
Adapted from Sport England's This Girl Can campaign, the initiative celebrates all kinds female physical activity, empowering Victorian women to enjoy being active without worrying about judgement, gender stereotypes or skill level.
As VicHealth advise "whether it’s sweating away at the gym, going for a run in your comfy old tracksuit pants, or getting your skates on at roller derby, there are countless ways to get out there and get active."
The new campaign will differ from past promotions in focusing on how activity makes a woman feel, showing a range of women not only engaged in active sport but also highlighting the joy in more simple activity like walking the dog in the fresh air, dancing in the lounge room with girlfriends or the happiness you feel simply playing in the park with children.

While it will show specific exercises, it will also highlight simpler activities.
The casting agency is interested in featuring women who keep active and even those who have overcome illness or hardship, wanting to see stories from all types of women who are active shared in the next This Girl Can television commercial.
Women wanting to participate just in this campaign just need to go to the This Girl Can website and go to the ‘share your story’ button.
Applications take roughly 10 to 15 minutes.
Once reviewed a casting/catch up may follow at the Chameleon Casting office in St Kilda.
