Cartoon Network Amazone innovations set to redefine global waterparks
Innovations introduced at the just-opened Cartoon Network Amazone waterpark in Thailand are set to “redefine waterpark attractions around the world” according to its developers.
Making the most of technology, the new waterpark features live and multimedia entertainment that incorporates the latest in interactive smart-screen technology - bringing fans of Cartoon Network closer to their favorite characters than ever before.
Some of the world’s fastest water rollercoasters can be found in this Ben 10 themed zone including the Humungaslide, Goop Loop, Intergalactic Racers, Alien Attack! and the XLR8tor from Polin Waterparks & Pool Systems.
Located in the waterpark’s Omniverse Zone, the Humungaslide! Roaring Super Slide is a high-speed water coaster based on the hugely popular Ben 10 alien, Humungousaur.
Other attractions include the waterpark’s Surf Arena with a dual FlowRider (main image); the family Adventure Zone! with the Jake Jump (above), Rainfall Rainicorn and Banana Spin waterslides; Cartoonival (below), a massive children’s water playground with 150 water attractions including waterslides and Four Arms and Omnitrix buckets; a 1.1 kilometre long lazy river, set among Cartoon Network heroes, flowering vegetation and palm trees; and the MegaWave wave pool.
