Campbelltown City Council deploys Envibe software to enhance customer experience

To enhance its customer experience and cope with growing visitor numbers, Campbelltown City Council has moved to the Envibe leisure management software system.

The Envibe software system, designed by leading leisure industry software provider Jonas Leisure, makes it simple for the Council to manage day-to-day aspects of its four multi-purpose recreation and leisure facilities. This includes organisation of fitness, gymnastics and swim classes, crèche facilities, on-site swim shops and cafés, facility bookings and general customer enquiries.

Envibe’s software is an easy-to-use operating system that allows customers to enter a facility with a simple scan or swipe of a card, while simultaneously enabling a business to effectively run its operations, manage members, handle point of sale, and generate customisable reports.

Campbelltown City Council uses these reports for a wide variety of business purposes, including understanding the number of new members who have joined over a specific timeframe and gathering metrics on how well attended its group fitness classes are.

The scalability of Envibe’s software system means it can be implemented across multiple leisure facilities and the Council uses it to support operations at Eagle Vale Central, Macquarie Fields Fitness and Indoor Sports Centre, Macquarie Fields Leisure Centre and the Gordon Fetterplace Aquatic Centre.

Envibe’s ability to handle a large-scale interface operation is particularly pertinent to the Campbelltown City Council’s requirements, given the ongoing population growth in South West Sydney and the subsequent increased demand for facilities.

Campbelltown City Council Leisure Facilities Lead Rachel Bastable advised that a key benefit of Envibe was the simple user interface and explained “staff are able to manage sales across multiple modules in a single transaction. Effective management of the service at the front desk ensures an increase in speed and efficient timeframes for the customer experience.”

Administration Officer Chloe Young agrees and adds “our region is growing rapidly and we have quite a few new staff members. Envibe is intuitive and easy to get the hang of.

“The more confident our staff are using a system, the better it is for our customers.

“We like the way you can do everything on one leisure management platform; we use it to book swimming lessons, manage memberships, administer group fitness classes, monitor stock, and book birthday parties.”

Young said they prided themselves on providing an outstanding customer experience during all points of the booking and implementation process. When staff had any questions or needed support with Envibe, the Jonas Leisure support team was always available and happy to help.
