Campbelltown City Council commences work on playground upgrade program
Campbelltown City Council has advised that residents and families will soon be able to enjoy a series of new and upgraded parks, with construction now underway at multiple locations across the local government area.
Four parks will be upgraded over the coming months, with a new park to be built at Regalia Crescent, Glenfield, where construction has now started.
Announcing the commencement of works, Campbelltown City Mayor, Darcy Lound advised "with more and more young families calling Campbelltown home, delivering modern playgrounds is a key focus for Council.
"The new park at Regalia Crescent in Glenfield was greatly received by the community during consultation, and I'm sure they're excited to see construction has now started.
"I look forward to seeing the new playgrounds open in the coming months, and I'd like to thank everyone who provided feedback to help shape the design of these great projects."
Park upgrades being delivered include:
Midlothian Reserve, St Andrews
Patrick Newman Reserve, Ambarvale
Flying Pieman Park, Eschol Park
Denfield Green, St Helens Park
