Caboolture Aquatic Centre Set for August ReOpening

The renovated Caboolture Regional Aquatic & Leisure Centre is to reopen on 2nd August.

The $1 million upgrade of the Moreton Bay Regional Council facility has seen the installation of a remarkable new roof featuring over 2,100 metre2 of solar panels from solar pool heating industry leaders Heliocol Solar.

Ashley Gordon, General Manager of facility managers Australian Crawl explains that "the Heliocol Solar System is, from our information, one of the largest pool solar collection systems on a single roof in the southern hemisphere."

The work has also seen the replacement of filter media and cosmetic work on the pool basins for each of the Centreâs three pools. In addition the interior roof of the pool hall has been repainted and a new louvre systems has been installed to enable better ventilation within the facility.

Established in 2000, Australian Crawl operates leisure centres and health clubs in south east Queensland.
