Business of Sport Summit to return in 2019

The organisers of the Business of Sport Summit have announced that the event will return in 2019, being held in Sydney on 2nd and 3rd April 2019.

Announcing the 8th edition of BOSS, organisers advised that the event was returing following "the 2018 Summit (having) achieved another impressive level in engaging Australia’s leading sport management executives with a frank and enlightening discussion around challenges and effective strategies.
 
"Over 200 sports leaders gathered to hear commanding talks from over 35 influencers who are shaping the industry including Ricardo Fort, Vice President, Global Sports Partnerships, The Coca-Cola Company (USA), David Gallop AM, Chief Executive Officer, Football Federation Australia and Jack Elkins, Director of Innovation, Orlando Magic (USA)."
 
The 2019 Summit is expected to exceed this year’s event with an already impressive line-up of speakers, including:

• Gabrielle Valdez Dow, Vice President Marketing and Fan Engagement, Green Bay Packers, USA
• Murray Barnett, Head of Global Sponsorship & Commercial Partnerships, Formula One 
• Alan Gilpin, Chief Operating Officer, Rugby World Cup 2019
• Alexandra Willis, Head of Communications, Content & Digital, The All England Lawn Tennis Club (Championships), UK
• Marcos Picallo Aguilar, Innovation Manager, FC Barcelona, Spain
• Rüdiger Müller, Head of Digital, FIFA 
• Jeremy Loeliger, Chief Executive, National Basketball League.
