Business Events Industry Aotearoa to stage MEETINGS 2023 at Tākina

Business Events Industry Aotearoa (BEIA) will stage MEETINGS 2023 at Wellington’s new Conference and Exhibition Centre, Tākina.

With stunning design and set in Wellington CBD’s cultural precinct, Tākina is within easy walking distance of key transport links, entertainment and recreation options, and thousands of accommodation options.

BEIA Chief Executive Lisa Hopkins says Tākina’s opening in June 2023 is perfect timing for another spectacular New Zealand business events showcase in a new destination. MEETINGS 2022 in Christchurch last month set a record with over 210 stands and 400 buyers, including 110 from Australia.

Hopkins notes “following a hugely successful MEETINGS 2022, held at Te Pae Christchurch, our attention is now focused on debuting the second of New Zealand’s brand new convention centres, Tākina.

“We can’t wait to bring New Zealand, Australian and international business event professionals together in Wellington for MEETINGS 2023 on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd June. They will be meeting with the best of New Zealand’s business events products, services, solutions, venues, and, most importantly, people on a vibrant show floor.”
