Brother and sisters from travelling show family killed in NSW highway crash

Three young siblings from the Pink amusements family have been killed in a highway crash while travelling home to Brisbane after attending a show in Dubbo.

Jack Pink, aged 19, and his sisters Marina, aged 17, and Destiny, aged 15, were killed instantly while travelling in two of the three vehicles involved in the collision near Boggabilla in northern NSW.

The head-on collision occurred on the Newell Highway about 6am on Monday.

The siblings grandfather is outgoing Showmen’s Guild of Australasia President and legendary third-generation showman George Pink.

NSW Police advised that Jack Pink was driving a pantech truck and towing a trailer while his sisters were in a car.

It is understood the pantech truck and the car collided head-on with a second truck - a fuel tanker - that then caught alight.

Showmen’s Guild of Australasia vice-president Broderick Pavier told media "they were young kids with their whole lives in front of them.

"As you can imagine, we're all pretty close. This will have a huge impact across our community."

A GoFundMe page has been set up to support parents Jaze and Glenn Pink and surviving siblings Coral, Jeanna, George and Patrick.

The GoFundMe page states “we are hoping to raise money to support their journey as they will be out of work in the coming months grieving their babies. We hope they can take the time needed to do that.”

NSW Police have set up a crime scene at the crash site and will prepare a report for the NSW Coroner.
