Brighton Baths renovates outdoor fitness area with Pavigym Turf

The recent renovation of Brighton Baths Health Club’s outdoor fitness area has created a high-quality multi-purpose fitness training space.

Making the most of its inspiring location next to Port Phillip Bay, the recent renovation was surfaced with Pavigym Turf flooring – enhancing user comfort and the attractiveness of the outdoor space.

Pavigym Turf combines resistance with softness making it ideal for all types of training, with an incredibly realistic ‘grass-look’ that creates a similar sensation to exercising on real grass. The surface also allows for exercises involving dragging sleds around, while maintaining the ultimate comfort underfoot for the user.

Brighton Baths Health Clubs Director Matthew Paynter explains “we wanted to create an outdoor training zone and Pavigym Turf was chosen as we needed a soft but resistant floor for our outdoor area.

“Pavigym Turf is really useful as it looks the part and is very hard wearing.

“We had an old bare wooden floor before with little resistance and therefore had a real need for a surface which wouldn’t wear down after a small amount of use, which Pavigym Turf has provided.

“Our members have reacted very positively to the change from wooden floor to Pavigym Turf, commenting that it is much easier to use and enjoy the outdoor gym at all times. There has also been an increase in more members using our outdoor facilities because of the change.”

Pavigym Turf can be installed indoor and outdoor and comes with an outstanding warranty again UV Rays (sun exposure).

Pavigym turf can also be customised by adding Functional Training markings to help facilitate and guide users through their exercises. All of this with the same quality look and feel of real grass.
