Best Union Company acquires 100% stake in the capital of Enta Australasia
Italian-based Best Union Company SpA has acquired a 100% stake in the capital of leading ticketing and CRM solutions provider Enta Australasia Pty Ltd with the aim of expanding its presence in Australian and the international markets.
The acquisition, which follow the recent implementation of Best Union’s ticketing solution at Zoos Victoria, was agreed as of 6th October.
Headed by Managing Director John Godwin, Enta has grown to be one of Australia’s leading providers of ticketing and CRM software solutions and services for theatres and artistic events with a team that is highly regarded for their industry experience in the ticketing sector and their solutions focused support.
Following the acquisition, Best Union will increase its market share in Australia and New Zealand, reaching the significant critical mass necessary to implement a development program both for the local market, and for other international markets which will be covered from the current Australian representation in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.
Best Union will also leverage its consolidated know-how to operate in the Australian and New Zealand ticketing markets largely thanks to the strong Australian Enta team, which aims to become a new point of reference in the lively and growing Australasian entertainment, cultural and attractions ticketing market.
Enta Australasia and Best Union present strong synergies from any point of view that will be pursued from the date of acquisition.
Commenting on the acquisition, Luca Montebugnoli, Best Union Chairman and President stated “this acquisition furthers Best Union’s strategy of international growth and pursuit of excellence in the business sectors of entertainment.
“With our offices in the UK, US, Italy, France, UAE, Singapore, China and now Australia, Best Union is uniquely positioned to provide innovative ticketing and event management solutions to the global market.
“I’m confident that Enta’s experience as the ticketing provider of some of the most important performing arts centres, galleries and leading cultural festivals will give significant impetus to the asset and know-how base of our group.”
John Godwin added “I welcome the new relationship with Best Union and I am looking forward to the many strong synergies that exist between our teams in continuing to deliver outstanding solutions and support to a growing Australian customer base.”
