Bangkok Properties Prepare for CentralWorld reopening
The Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre is organising a series of promotions to coincide with the 28th September reopening of CentralWorld, the biggest lifestyle and leisure complex in Southeast Asia.
As Kobchai Chirathivat, President and Chief Executive of Central Pattana Public Company Limited explains that "with our refurbishment now nearing completion we anticipate that 90% of CentralWorld will be reopened for customers by the end of September", adding that "confidence is returning quickly to Bangkok and to the Ratchaprasong district."
The Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre is now planning special promotions to coincide with the CentralWorld reopening, with Gerd Steeb, President of Centara Hotels & Resorts stating "our hotel and convention centre are already reporting high levels of occupancy and business, and this is going to increase with the reopening of CentralWorld.
"Ratchaprasong is one of the high points of any tourist's visit to Bangkok, and CentralWorld is the single largest shopping attraction in the district."
The Bangkok Convention Centre will be hosting the Asia Fitness Convention from 17th to 19th September 2010.
The event brings together an all-inclusive selection of international fitness and conditioning expertise and equipment under one roof at one time.
The inaugural Convention in November 2009 brought together a remarkable collection of world-class presenters that attracted over 500 delegates from around the region under the theme 'Get Fit Asia!'.
