Avanti Reaches New Heights
Unveiled at the recent Australian Fitness Expo, the Avanti Fitness distributed Skywall is a motorised, indoor climbing wall that will help exercisers and climbers to put their climbing and balancing skills to the test while also providing a significant workout challenge.
Skywall is an ideal fitness solution for all levels as users are challenged to keep up with the motorised wall, raising their heart rates and giving their bodies a challenging assignment.
Simulating the curvatures of a true rock accent, Skywall allows users to climb continuously, without interruption, at a constant height from the ground. On a rotating 'rock face' there are colour-coded rocks which can be placed in many positions in the Skywall, allowing climbers to customise their climbing experience with different paths and levels of difficulty.
Skywall's weight bearing exercises ensure climbers are kept moving and, with the wall in constant motion, constantly challenged. In addition, Skywall challenges muscle groups not used in everyday life.
The unit also has a range of safety features that enable the user to pause the Skywall as needed, including an photovoltaic sensor that initiates an auto shut-off when crossed, and a stop button for convenience.
Skywall is fully customisable, featuring 10 climbing speeds, 13 incline levels and five preset programs designed to suit a wide variety of fitness levels and giving fitness enthusiasts the flexibility of being able to work as hard or as fast-paced as their fitness levels require.
The Skywall is available in three sizes - a 3.5 metre high model, a 3.1 metre high model and 2.8 metre high 'mini Skywall' aimed at junior climbers and suitable for indoor play and family entertainment centres as well as fitness facilities.
