Australian Museum delivers events inspired by their current exhibitions
The Australian Museum is delivering a number of events and activities throughout the Summer holidays inspired by the Australian Museum’s exhibitions – Unsettled and Australian Geographic 2021 Nature Photographer of the Year.
Events include free films, photographic workshops for nature photography enthusiasts of all levels, guided tours of the Australian Museum’s (AM) award-winning Unsettled exhibition with knowledgeable First Nations staff, meditation workshops, ‘Scientist for a Day’ for keen, young bird watchers, theatre activities, plus a prehistoric playground for all those budding palaeontologists.
The Australian Museum was founded in 1827 and is the nation’s first museum. It is internationally recognised as a natural science and culture institution focused on Australia and the Pacific. The AM’s mission is to ignite wonder, inspire debate and drive change and is committed to transforming the conversation around climate change, the environment and wildlife conservation; to being a strong advocate for First Nations cultures; and to continuing to develop world-leading science, collections, exhibitions and education programs.
Dine + Discover vouchers can be redeemed at the Australian Museum to participate in the summer holiday activities.
