Australian Event Awards celebrated online throughout October

Faced with ongoing travel restrictions and having consulted the industry, the Australian Event Awards has decided to turn October into a month-long, online celebration of their entrants, finalists and winners.

To kick it off, entrant highlights, depicting an overview of the achievements and resilience of every Awards entrant and a few of the individuals that were integral to the operation, have begun on the Event Awards Facebook and will continue until 19th October.

So far, sixteen entrant highlights have been published including Best Event entrants; Parrtjima – A Festival in Light 2021, ChromeFest Overdrive TV 2020, Igniting Our Future Conference 2021, and Airwaves - The Drive-In Music Festival 2020. Many of the Achievement and Organisation entrants have also been recognised including Q Station Management Team, The Shift, Ferve Tickets Pty Ltd and Connected Event Group.

The entrant highlights will be followed by 12 days of finalist and winner announcements from 20th-31st October. These announcements will take the form of bite sized broadcasts which will be uploaded to the Event Awards’ YouTube channel at a designated time each evening.
