Australian digital imaging company supports Mogo Zoo foundation

Melbourne based Digital Photo Industries, a leading supplier of digital imaging expertise to the attractions and tourism sector, has advised of its $10,000 donation to the Mogo Zoo Foundation to support the Mogo Wildlife Park’s recovery from bushfires earlier this year.

The Mogo Zoo Foundation Limited is an ACNC registered charity, created to protect, care for, preserve, and study animals while improving the communities outlook on them. The Foundation assists in delivering the best possible care to animals by providing excellence in dietary requirements, exhibit construction, husbandry skills, and establishing genetically viable and controlled regional and global breeding programs.

Mogo Wildlife Park was in the direct line of the catastrophic bushfires that affected much of the NSW South Coast earlier this year. Over 90% of the perimeter fencing was lost to fires, however, through the heroic efforts of the Mogo Wildlife Park keepers, the entire animal collection remained safe throughout this crisis.

Mogo Zoo Foundation Director, Tony Chiefari advised “we have been overwhelmed by offers of support and kind donations from around the world, and this recent contribution by Digital Photo Industries will too make a great difference to the important work of the Mogo Zoo Foundation”.

Digital Photo Industries Managing Director Lynton Barriball (pictured above) adds “the success of our photo operation at Featherdale Wildlife Park and our ongoing partnership with Australian Wildlife Parks, has allowed us to put aside some of the revenue generated to re-invest in animal welfare via the Mogo Zoo Foundation. We are excited to announce a donation of $10,000 which will go towards aiding the recovery from the devastating bush fires earlier this year. We are proud to be able to support the Mogo Zoo Foundation’s vision in such a positive way.”

Established in 2002, Digital Photo Industries, a wholly owned and operated Australian Company, designs and integrates state of the art digital imaging systems in a wide variety of markets. They work with tourism sites, helping them generate significant income from souvenir photographic operations. Their capabilities extend into biometric security imaging and their software has been in use in over 40 countries around the world.

Digital Photography is utilised in a variety of revenue generating applications, from capturing tourists riding the Edge experience at Melbourne’s Eureka Tower, to getting up close and personal with Koalas at Featherdale Wildlife Park.
