The Australian Swim Schools Association’s first Exceptional Service to Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety Award has been presented to Perth-based Sharon Gregory.
Gregory has taught swimming for over 50 years, excelling in the areas of babies and toddlers, adults, learners with disability and surf awareness.
Last year’s Humanitarian recipient and ASSA Board Member, Bev Christmass, presented Gregory with the award during ASSA’s recent SwimSchoolers TEACH Seminar in Perth.
