ARV to stage Cryptosporidium industry information session
Following a four-fold increase in waterborne gastric cases among pool users in Victoria and recent advice from the Victorian Department of Health for aquatic centres to undergo super chlorination procedures, Aquatic and Recreation Victoria (ARV) is to stage an industry information session where Cryptosporidium management issues will be discussed.
The seession will include a panel dicussion on effectively managing Cryptosporidium, associated facility operations and managing public expectations and will be addressed by representatives from the Health Department are:
The session will be held on the morning of Wednesday 22nd May 2013 at the Clayton Community Centre Theatre, Cooke Street, Clayton.
