ANZLSA 2011 conference to explore Ethics in Sport
With the theme 'Drawing the Line: Ethics in Sport' the 21st Australia and New Zealand Sports Law Association (ANZSLA) annual conference will be staged at the Crowne Plaza, one of Queenstown's premier hotels on 12th and 13th October.
Set to attract administrators, sports lawyers, athletes and academics, conference sessions will include the challenges facing modern sport; major events; integrity in sport - the problems of cheating and match fixing; new media/media; doping; anti-siphoning comparing the two jurisdictions; the challenges of trans-Tasman competition for elite sports teams; and case round ups.
Speakers will include many leaders in the world of sport.
The conference will open with the President's Cocktail Party on the evening of Wednesday 12th October at the Crowne Plaza while the conference's Gala Dinner, on Thursday 13th October, will take place at the brand new, highly anticipated Hilton Kawarau, a five star property with an already exceptional reputation.
The Conference dates also offer delegates an opportunity to attend Rugby World Cup games, either before or after the Conference.
Overlooking Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables mountain range, the Crowne Plaza Queenstown , is centrally located.
Conference registrations are now open with early bird registration rates available until 31st August.
