AFL's Tanya Hosch named South Australia's Australian of the Year
Tanya Hosch, the AFL's first Indigenous and second female executive, has been commended for her varied leadership roles, receiving the 2021 South Australian Australian of the Year award at a ceremony on Sunday night.
The AFL Inclusion and Social Policy General Manager (pictured) was awarded alongside other high-achieving South Australians for their service to the community.
The group received their awards at a ceremony at Adelaide Oval, attended by South Australian Governor Hieu Van Le and Premier Steven Marshall.
The national Australian of the Year award ceremony will be held on 25th January next year.
