AAC ID Solutions aid success of Brisbane's Picnic in the Park
AAC ID Solutions backed Sunday's Picnic in the Park event in Brisbane, providing The Cerebral Palsy League with identification products including the Australian made Tyvek wristbands which provided the event organisers with a waterproof, sequentially numbered, comfortable to wear, identification and access control solution.
Held as part of the Cerebral Palsy Awareness Week 2013, the 'Picnic in the Park' fundraising event is one of Brisbane's favourite annual outdoor family events.
Held on Sunday 28th July, not even the rain could wash away the enthusiasm and enjoyment from all who attended the popular event for parents and children. Highlights of the event included entertainers, sideshow alley, a wildlife display, a sports zone for kids with disability to meet the Australian Paralympic talent spotters, and for the young-at-heart, an impressive range of live entertainment and gourmet food.
Explaining their involvement with the event, AAC ID Solutions Marketing Manager Jason Catchpole stated "AAC ID Solutions are very pleased to have again supported this very worthy cause."
He added "experience has shown that the management of a successful event requires a detailed plan of action.
"The main issues which must be considered include planning processes, promotion and media strategies, entertainment considerations, entry and exit planning, security systems, medical emergency options and crowd control.
"Although a comprehensive event planning process cannot guarantee a problem-free event, the involvement of suppliers like AAC ID Solutions and the commitment of adequate and suitable resources like event Identification and access control can greatly reduce the potential for problems to occur. Good planning can also enhance the ability of event organisers to effectively respond to any problem that may occur."
AAC ID Solutions is Australasia's pioneer supplier of identification products and continue to supply thousands of events and venues with access control wristbands, as well as lanyards, ID cards, promotional products and roll tickets.
