A world of opportunity for Ready Steady Go Kids

Ready Steady Go Kids, Australia's largest multi-sport program for preschoolers, has just announced that it will commence operations in England in 2013.
Having expanded into Singapore earlier this year, launching in the United Kingdom is another significant milestone for the company which already operates in over 70 locations throughout Australia and has doubled in size since it was purchased by husband and wife team, Stuart and Toni Derbyshire, last year
Stuart Derbyshire feels that venturing into the Singapore and UK markets is merely the start of a long and steady journey towards establishing Ready Steady Go Kids as an internationally recognised name synonymous with healthy, happy children.
He explains "there's growing ackowledgment around the world that children need to be active from a very young age to achieve maximum physical, intellectual and emotional development.
"This opens up a fantastic opportunity for Ready Steady Go Kids to not only maintain its position as the largest multi-sport and exercise program in Australia, but also to fulfill similar roles around the globe."
UK-based Kathy and Matthew Bees are the latest franchisees to purchase an international Ready Steady Go Kids franchise, explaining "we were looking for the right business opportunity.
"Ready Steady Go Kids came up in our Internet search, we had a look through all the details and knew this was the program for us.
"As parents, we're passionate about the need to introduce sport and an active lifestyle to children before they reach school age.
Physiotherapist-designed for children aged from two-and-a-half to six years, Ready Steady Go Kids aims to instill in its participants positive attitudes towards exercise that they will carry for life.
Classes cover the fundamentals of 10 different sports while developing age-appropriate motor skills. Children also learn about the concept of sportsmanship by taking turns, playing by the rules and cooperating with their peers.
Matthew Bees adds "the program's fun environment is the ideal platform to inspire young children while teaching them important developmental and social skills."
The Bees plan to introduce Ready Steady Go Kids to the UK by opening locations in the south of England in January 2013, with an aim to franchise the business nationally within the next 1824 months.
Stuart Derbyshire adds "we are extremely excited to have Kathy and Matthew join our team.
"We believe their passion, dedication and outstanding business experience will help them seize the opportunity that exists in the UK and leverage Ready Steady Go Kids into the leading preschool-based sport and exercise program available."
Testament to the high quality of the program, the ongoing achievements of Ready Steady Go Kids make for a business success story like no other.
The company has also welcomed 10 new Australian franchisees into the network for the commencement of Term 1 2013.
