9Round announces Tayla Harris as Australian and New Zealand 2021 Ambassador

Fitness franchise, 9Round has announced Australian athlete, Tayla Harris as their official Australian and New Zealand 2021 Ambassador.

Familiar with going nine bouts on and off the field, the 23-year-old AFLW star and professional boxer is excited to be in 9Round’s corner, a gym that revolves around the individual, their goals and a supportive community.

Harris notes “before committing to 9Round, it was important for me to get under the skin of the workout and ensure it aligned with my fitness goals and lifestyle.

“I got in there with my manager Alex and my boxing coach Faris, and we loved it. It’s an awesome workout and I can genuinely say it is a great environment that is welcoming and the perfect all-round workout for anyone and everyone.”

The kick-boxing gym is designed as a 30-minute work-out on your own time, with no class schedules, a circuit starting every three minutes and a trainer alongside every step of the way.

9Round ANZ Chief Executive, Chris Caldwell was eager to partner with someone who shared the same mindset and drive to change people’s lives.

Caldwell advised “we knew we couldn’t have just anyone as an ambassador, it had to be someone that embodied the essence of what we’ve created here at 9Round, someone who has a strong belief in fitness and that everyone deserves the opportunity to chase their own, at any time. Tayla without a doubt is that person.”

Shannon Hudson and his wife, Heather, founded 9Round in 2008 with the drive to offer a space where anyone could experience world-championship-quality training, in the most convenient and non-intimidating way.

Harris says it is the perfect dose of cardio, strength and technique added into her weekly routine and adds “I love the concept of a compact workout with so many different components and skills to learn. The structure of the sessions and the instruction from the team leaves you feeling empowered and accomplished before, during and after. I love the community feel and I encourage anyone to try 9Round.”

Mastering the perfect combination of kickboxing, boxing and HIIT training, 9Round, a part of the Lift Brands family, has cemented its roots across 34 locations in Australia and New Zealand, nearly 800 locations globally, and across 20 countries around the world.
