2015 PLA National Conference heads to Sydney

Parks and Leisure Australia's 19th National Conference will be returning to Sydney from 25th to 28th October.

With the theme 'Inspire: Create the Future Together’ the Conference will bring park management and recreation planning professionals together to hear industry leaders address topics including for building healthy communities, protecting the environment, promoting sustainable living, positively transforming living spaces and inspiring the future.

Introducing the event, a joint statement from Parks and Leisure Australia (PLA) Conference Chair Andrew Robinson and Chief Executive Mark Band explains “as one of the most forward thinking, green and connected cities, Sydney will host the 19th PLA National Conference ... and it is our great pleasure to invite you to ‘Inspire and create the future together’.”

The pair add that “the event attracts key decision makers working in policy, planning and provision of assets, services, facilities and programs.”

The Conference will also see the announcement of the winners of PLA’s national awards at the Awards of Excellence Gala Dinner at Dockside Pavilion at Sydney’s Cockle Bay Wharf on Wednesday 28th October.
